While most of the quests and other elements of the game are available in the Fischmas Northstar Village, a few are hidden away. One such area is the Cryoshock Cellar. Prerequisites to Open the Fisch Hatch and Cryoshock Cellar
Before we jump into the process to open the hatch and get to Cryoshock Cellar in Fisch, you will need these specific items:
- Frost Moon Totem: The totem is required to use the levers and open the hatch. You can only purchase the totem from one of the Glacial Ridge Igloos for 5000 Bells.
- Essence Of Winter: Found through fishing in the Fischmas waters in Northstar Village. Only available during Frost Moon weather.
- Essence Of Starfrost: Found through fishing in the Fischmas waters in Northstar Village. Only available during Frost Moon weather.
- Everfrost Key: You will get the Everfrost Key after completing Santa’s Miracle Rod quest.
All Fisch Lever Locations to Open Hatch
Once you purchase the Frost Moon Totem, you must interact with three levers in the Northstar Village. Here is the list of lever locations, including their Fisch GPS coordinates:
- -7898, 273, -17854
- -7718, 182, -17512
- -7875, 196, -17855
Once you have found the levers, use the totem to interact with them. Interact with all the levers to open the hatch at the -7799, 173, -17810 coordinates. After the hatch opens, just walk over it to enter it.
How to Open Cryoshock Cellar in Fisch
Inside the hatch, you will find a giant gate and a fishhead near it. This is the gate to the Cryoshock Cellar that contains the Cryoshock Serpent. Here is how you can open the Cryoshock Cellar:
- Hold the Essence Of Winter and Essence Of Starfrost and interact with the mouth of the Cryoshock Serpent statue.
- Once the blue lights on the gate lit up, use the Everfrost Key to open the gate.
