To get the Skeleton Key in Oblivion Remastered, you’ll need to complete a side quest named Nocturnal, which requires your character to be at least level 10. If you meet the requirement, fast travel to the city of Leyawiin and venture north until you reach the Nocturnal Shrine.
The shrine features a massive statue of a goddess with her arms outstretched, so it’s hard to miss. Once there, head up to the statue and speak with the Deadric Princess to start the quest. She’ll ask you to recover the stolen Eye of Nocturnal artifact.
Since the player cannot know the artifact’s location without some investigation, there’s an additional step that requires eavesdropping on an NPC named Weebam-Na. That said, we’ll lay out the artifact’s exact location in this guide so you can skip this step.
To collect the artifact, head to the Tidewater Cave located just south of Leyawiin. The cave is populated with rats and trolls, so come prepared. Once inside, take the path leading left at every turn, and eventually, you’ll be submerged underwater with a dead-end in front. Look to the right, and you’ll find the Eye of Nocturnal floating under a little crevice.
