Siphon is a mechanic in Fortnite that allows you to gain health and shields after eliminating an enemy. This can be extremely useful when you’re in a tight spot or are almost in the final circle with no medkits or shield potions to loot nearby.
In Chapter 5, Season 4, players can use this mechanic by defeating Doombot at Castle Doom and looting it. Afterward, he will drop the Siphon Medallion, which you can equip. However, like all other medallions in the game, it comes at a cost.
While you can regenerate your health and shields with Siphon, wearing the medallion will reveal your location to all players on the map. This way, everyone will always know where you are going, regardless of your location. Fortnite.
That said, this shouldn’t be a problem if you’re confident in your skills and know where all the Mythic items are. Plus, thanks to this season’s loot, there’s now a “Broken Combo” you can try to destroy enemies that get in your way.
