The next major macOS update, dubbed Sequoia, is just around the corner. Like iOS 18, it is built around “Apple Intelligence” and includes various AI-powered features. On top of that, it also introduces new features including improved window tiling, iPhone mirroring, and an updated password app, to name a few. macOS Sequoia release date
Apple has officially revealed that macOS Sequoia will be available starting September 16, 2024 on supported Macs.
Apple announced macOS 15 at its Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) in June this year. The Sequoia beta is already available, so if you can’t wait for the official release, you can use our guide to install macOS Sequoia beta on your Mac.

Starting with MacBooks, all laptops from the 2018 MacBook Pro to the recent 2024 MacBook Air M3 will receive the macOS 15 update.
