The fourth and final tennis Grand Slam of the year is fast approaching.
To kick off US Open Fan Week and qualifying tournaments, four US Open legends will take to the court for a one-of-a-kind exhibition match on Monday.
The US Open main draw runs from August 26 to September 8, but the action starts a week before with Fank Week, when thousands of tennis fans will have free access to the courts to watch qualifying matches, practice sessions and more.
As part of the Legends of the Open event, Tommy Haas, Garbiñe Muguruza, James Blake and Bethanie Mattek-Sands will once again take to the Queens court for an exhibition match.
Haas, a three-time US Open quarterfinalist, and Blake, a two-time US Open quarterfinalist and former US No. 1 in men’s singles, will join former world No. 1 and two-time Grand Slam champion Muguruza and Olympic medalist and nine-time Grand Slam doubles champion Mattek-Sands for a fun and interactive women’s singles, mixed doubles and men’s singles competition.
