On Monday night, the first battle between the Oklahoma City Thunder and San Antonio Spurs will commence from Paycom Center in Oklahoma City.

The Thunder have been cruising during this year’s playoffs, and they actually have yet to lose a game. The Spurs will be quite the leg up between the Phoenix Suns and an injury-riddled Los Angeles Lakers, so a bigger challenge is certainly on the horizon.

Oklahoma City will be getting a familiar face back to their starting lineup in Jalen Williams. The forward left Game 3 of the team’s first round with a Grade 1 left hamstring. On the other side of the court, DeAaron Fox enters Monday questionable label due to an ankle injury. Even if Fox does play for San Antonio, he may be less effective than he normally is.

San Antonio was victorious over Oklahoma City in four out of the teams’ five meetings during the regular season. The Spurs won by an average of 11.75 points, so they do have a legitimate chance of preventing the Thunder from becoming the first team to win back-to-back championships since the Golden State Warriors in 2017 and 2018.

Here’s what you need to know about Monday’s matchup between the Thunder and Spurs, including broadcast information and start time.
