The midfielder has not offered a specific reason for his decision to go from bleached blonde to pink. Instead, it appears he simply wanted a change.
“I’ve been thinking about getting a new colour for a while now. Those who have been following me for a while, or my friends and family, won’t be surprised,” she said.

It’s not just Andrich’s hairstyle that has caused a stir among fans. His shocking revelation about his pre-match eating routine has also made headlines.
“I love mealworms. They are a good source of protein. In fact, I not only love them, but I think they are fantastic,” she said.
Andrich isn’t the only player sporting a bold hairstyle at Euro 2024: Romanian defender Andrei Rațiu dyed his hair blue for the competition.
Career at Robert Andrich’s club
Andrich joined Bayer Leverkusen from Union Berlin in 2021 after coming through the lower pisions of German football. His role in the first team increased following the arrival of Alonso midway through the 2022/23 season.
He made 28 Bundesliga appearances as part of Bayer Leverkusen’s title challenge last season and earned a call-up from Nagelsmann at the end of 2023.
Despite his lack of international experience, he has established himself as Nagelsmann’s first-choice midfield partner Toni Kroos, making four starts in four games at Euro 2024 ahead of the quarter-final stage.
