HYTE has teamed up with Square Enix to design two PC cases inspired by the FFXIV Dawntrail expansion, and one of them is part of a brand new social media giveaway.
HYTE is well known for its awesome PC cases. In 2024 alone, the brand released a PC case and matching accessories based on Honkai Star Rail’s Silver Wolf and Honkai Impact 3rd’s Valkyrie Songque.
Now, Final Fantasy has gotten the HYTE treatment. The PC case brand has revealed not one, but two PC cases designed after Final Fantasy XIV job classes – and one of them is even up for grabs in a brand new contest.

The all-new FFXIV PC cases are currently being showcased at PAX West 2024. Final Fantasy fans will be able to catch a glimpse of the HYTE Y40 cases, adorned with stunning artwork from the latest Dawntrail expansion.
One of the custom Y40 cases features the charming Pictomancer job. This magical DPS job is new to the Dawntrail expansion and allows FFXIV players to attack with color-themed spells.
The bright pops of color and stunning Final Fantasy graphics lend themselves perfectly to this aquarium-style case. As revealed in images posted on HYTE’s official X (formerly Twitter) page, Pictomancer’s graphics are printed not only on the side, but also on the front of the case, which is also adorned with the Dawntrail logo.
The other case is inspired by the Viper job, a brand new melee DPS job also new to Dawntrail. The Viper-themed PC case features artwork featuring two characters wielding the class’s signature blades.
At the time of writing, neither Final Fantasy XIV Dawntrail PC case is available for purchase. However, HYTE is offering fans in the US and Canada the chance to win the Viper-themed Y40 case on their official X page.

The contest ends on September 12th, so we recommend you hurry if you want the Viper-themed case for yourself.
If you’re lucky enough to be at PAX West 2024, be sure to visit the HYTE exhibit to see the displays in person. According to the giveaway site, secret codes are available at the exhibit, which can be used for two additional entries.
