Trevor Noah’s Taylor Swift prank at the 2024 Grammys is arguably better than revenge.
The awards show host had a lot to say about the singer, as is done about the NFL singer who is nominated for six Grammy Awards. However, he had a lot of good things to say, and he told some football jokes in honor of Travis Kelce, who couldn’t make it to Los Angeles due to preparation for the Super Bowl.
It’s a stark comparison to how she was treated just a month ago at the Golden Globes. Host Jo Koy took aim at the big guns when she said, “The big difference between the Golden Globes and the NFL? At the Golden Globes we have less Taylor Swift camera shots.”
Needless to say, it was a laughable punch. Swift and many of her co-stars obviously didn’t enjoy the joke, and Koy received a lot of criticism after the show.
Noah had the opposite reaction at the Grammys.

Noah knew he would have to be on his best behavior as a Grammy host. He must have known that just an hour later, the singer would announce her brand new album, The Department of Tortured Poets, good?
It doesn’t matter if he did it or not. The comedian was a success everywhere. Unlike Koy, he tastefully incorporated Swift’s involvement in football, even going so far as to criticize those who mock the star for being on Chiefs broadcasts.
“I think it’s very unfair how NFL fans have complained about the cameras being on Taylor Swift, as if she’s controlling the cameras in the game,” Noah said. “Just let her live.”

Earlier, when Swift made a late (but grand) entrance to her seat, Noah indirectly congratulated the singer on her tour accomplishments just days before her departure to Japan. Swift’s Eras tour became the highest-grossing tour of all time, the first tour to reach $1 billion.
His concerts literally impacted wherever he went. The same can be said of the person themselves.

Swift announced the release of her 15th album during her Grammy acceptance (her 13th overall) for Pop Vocal Album of the Year, which went to midnight. The album will be released on April 15.
