Megan Fox has finally presented herself months later Love is blind Star Chelsea Blackwell became the subject of relentless scrutiny for claiming on the show that she had previously been compared to the actress.
As the series challenges its stars to date and take their relationships to the next level without any knowledge of what their love interests are like, Blackwell used Fox as a point of reference during a date with Jimmy Presnell, saying she had been compared to the Jennifer’s body star for his “dark hair and blue eyes.” But the comparison drew the ire of haters and trolls everywhere once the show aired.
Fox recently weighed in on the controversy, saying MY! News who completely believed that Blackwell had been compared to her before.
“I saw a photo of her. One hundred thousand percent, people have told her, ‘You look like Megan Fox,'” Fox said.
He continued: “So I think he’s telling the truth and I hope he still has that sparkle in his eye.” I hope the world hasn’t stolen it. Mine died a long time ago from being harassed for 20 years. So I hope that didn’t happen to her. My best wishes and blessings.”
Fox also added that she’s “never had so many people texting” about anything, saying, “Even other celebrities at parties like the Oscars were like, ‘See?'” Love is blind?’ And I said, ‘No, but I know what you’re talking about.'”
Blackwell has not responded to Fox’s statements, although he did share a Tik Tok of herself with the statement: “Life is unreal…Megan Fox knows who I am.”
Despite the resulting controversy, the comparison certainly worked on the show, as it excited Presnell enough to immediately ask Blackwell, “Can we get married?”
However, after the big reveal, Presnell expressed that she felt Blackwell “definitely lied about her appearance.”
But he later defended his ex-fiancée in an interview with Us weekly. “To be fair, that woman didn’t say, ‘I look like Megan Fox.’ She said, ‘People tell me that.’ But I heard that and I was very excited. So yeah, maybe it’s my fault,” she said.
“She’s getting a lot of heat and she doesn’t deserve it.” She is an amazing person and I will protect her from all that shit if I have to,” she said. “I can talk about what she is like as a person, and if they want to hate someone, they should hate me. “She doesn’t deserve it.”
