Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos paid tribute to their 2023 Halloween spectacular on this morning’s show. Lives with Kelly and Mark celebrating their special “Halfway to Halloween: The Eras Version.”
While its October episode featured iconic parodies of several notable pop culture moments, such as Vanderpump Rules‘ by Scandoval himself, which even got Ariana Madix’s seal of approval, this morning’s installment also featured new content, including a riff from Love is blind Season 6 contestant Chelsea Blackwell, who told her now ex-fiancé Jimmy during the show that she was told she looked like Megan Fox because of her “light eyes” and “dark hair.”
During the parody, in which Ripa and Consuelos participated—in addition to LiveHost Deja Vu, EP Michael Gelman, and executive Art Moore: included the clip of Chelsea and Jimmy from the original episode, replaced by Deja saying, “And if you love this moment from Season 6…”
“Get ready to see even more celebrities,” he continued. “Something like…”
The scene then cut to Ripa in the “pods,” where she asked, “Ok, so do you know Megan Fox?”
Gelman, wearing a blonde wig, responded: “Are you saying you look like Megan Fox?”
Ripa clarified: “People say I look like Megan Fox’s aunt from the sitcom. Hope faith”, while the main theme of the program played in the background. However, on the other end of the line he was met with only silence.
“Hello hello?” she asked, before viewers saw Gelman’s empty pod and heard the sound of a car speeding away.
The banter only continued when Consuelos joked that he was being compared to Hiram Lodge from riodale, Erik Estrada, and best of all, Mark Consuelos. Meanwhile, Gelman claimed that he gets Bradley Cooper, Owen Wilson and even Spicoli from Sean Penn from Fast times at Ridgemont High.
Consuelos then asked Ripa about her dual celebrity, to which she responded, “Okay, I don’t see it, but I have Kelly Ripa.”
Consuelos gushed: “Really? Wow. “My mom loves her.”
Moore then stole the show, claiming to Deja: “Some people think I look like a football player. “I think he’s dating Taylor Swift.”
Stunned, Deja responded, “Travis Kelce? Are you saying you look like Travis Kelce?
Moore said: “Yeah, I guess. But, I do not see it”.
In what was later mocked as “the most dramatic revelation in Love is blind story,” Moore came out wearing a Kansas City Chiefs jersey, a football in his hand, and a fake beard on his face.
Once Deja discovered that Moore’s resemblance to Kelce wasn’t necessarily extraordinary, she said, “Can you let me back in the group? Are you kidding? Travis Kelce? He wasn’t even a real beard! I feel cheated”.
The sketch was even followed by hilarious gaffes, with a clip of Kris Jenner’s doppelganger and The golden bachelor fan favorite Susan Noles.
