During a press conference in Texas hosted by Netflix for Mike Tyson and Jake Paul’s upcoming boxing match, Tyson bizarrely admitted that he “got a boner” while watching footage of 16-year-old Jake Paul line dancing.
Tyson and Paul are scheduled to face each other on July 20 in Netflix’s live Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson fight, but while they were exchanging insults, the exchange took a strange sexual turn.
YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul initially said he wanted to “kiss Mike’s big, juicy lips.”
This prompted the 57-year-old to respond saying: “Did he want to kiss me? “It’s so ironic that he said that because I saw pictures of him dancing at 16, doing that little dance on YouTube and for some reason I got a boner.”
Paul seemed unfazed by the comment, but there was an awkward silence after the comment as those inside the venue were stunned. You can see the clip below.

That wasn’t the only moment of the event that drew attention. As the two fighters answered questions from fans in attendance, a little boy asked Tyson and Paul who would be a better coach for a young fighter.
Tyson stated “definitely me,” before Paul rebutted: “The older fighters definitely have more heart and balls and weren’t afraid, but I think the newer fighters have more skill and technique and are sharper, so I would be a best coach.” .”
The boy pushed the two boxers a little further, asking Paul if he thought Tyson had “bigger balls” and then asking the two fighters for their respective “body counts.”
This prompted Tyson to ask, “Where is this child’s mother?”
The fighters were also questioned about the legitimacy of the fight, and the idea that Tyson lost on purpose was dismissed.
“Well, they clearly don’t have a high IQ here, but that’s a federal crime,” Paul said in response before Tyson also denied that he had been told to lose to his opponent 30 years his junior.
“Well, come to the fight and see,” Tyson said. “Listen, I started with Jake and I’m going to end with him.”
Paul then yelled back, “Hey, I hope everyone keeps the same energy when I knock this old guy out!”
