AND Netflix has presented a new Bridgerton Season 3, Part 2 trailer to satisfy our cravings for more Penelope (Nicola Coughlan), more Colin (Luke Newton), more Anthony (Jonathan Bailey), more Kate (Simone Ashley), and more Lady Whistledown-related drama.
The two minutes duration Bridgerton The trailer for season 3, part 2 reveals that yes, Colin and Penelope are engaged! And the news of their sudden meeting is captivating high society. However, there is one person who is not at all happy that Penelope and Colin are madly in love and that would be Eloise Bridgerton (Claudia Jessie). Throughout the trailer, Eloise threatens to reveal Penelope’s secret (that she is Lady Whistledown) to the unsuspecting Colin.
Of course, that’s the dark and dramatic part of the trailer. Bridgerton Fans are likely to take advantage of a number of incredible moments that have been talked about for years.
We have known for some time that Bridgerton Season 3 would give us a “mirror scene.” That is, a sex scene between Penelope and Colin in front of a mirror. The scene doesn’t actually happen in the books, but Colin mentions that he’d like to make love to Penelope in front of a mirror…and Bridgerton, the show, decided to make it happen!
After that steamy tease, there’s a nice moment between the three eldest Bridgerton children in which Colin admits that their engagement happened rather “quickly.” When Anthony catches what he means, Benedict (Luke Thompson) jokingly asks if that means he will duel his own brother in a callback to a key location. Other things that eagle eyes Bridgerton Fans can take advantage of Penelope’s engagement ring, shots of several couples kissing, and Penelope defiantly telling Colin that she can take care of herself. “Then what good am I!?” Colin screams desperately.
What is the context of that scene? How steamy will the mirror scene get? Will Colin and Penelope make it to the altar? Bridgerton Fans will have to wait until next week to find out!
