For NetflixIt seems like AMC is as easy as 1, 2, 3.
What’s on Netflix? reports that the streaming giant will become the home of several AMC series in the US, including Interview with the Vampire. This news comes about a month after the show’s second season premiered on AMC.
Mr. Spade, which premiered in January, will also be available on Netflix. The crime drama was announced as a limited series and there has been no confirmation of a second season.
Fear the living dead, which ended its eight-season run as a spinoff in November 2023, is another AMC series making its debut on Netflix. At the time of the finale, showrunners Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg told Jugo Mobile that they “didn’t want the show to end any other way.”
Besides, Fear the living dead will join the flagship series The Walking Dead on Netflix, where all 11 seasons are currently streaming.
Other shows that are no longer in production but are still coming to Netflix are Preacher and In the wastelandsthe latter of which was canceled by AMC after three seasons.
As noted by What’s on Netflix, some of these titles, specifically season 1 ofInterview with the Vampireand the first seven seasons ofFear the living dead– were briefly available on Max during a pop-up partnership that launched in September. Plus, these aren’t the first AMC titles to come to Netflix. The four seasons of Kill Eve landed on Netflix in April.
As for when fans can expect these shows to be available on Netflix and for how long, that apparently remains a mystery. Jugo Mobile reached out to Netflix for more information.
