Switzerland took the lead in the first half thanks to Dan Ndoye, who wonderfully met Remo Freuler’s cross inside the area to beat Manuel Neuer.
Murat Yakin’s men maintained their lead into injury time and frustrated the hosts for over an hour with their resilient defensive display.
David Raum’s cross to the far post was met brilliantly by Fullkrug, who headed past Yann Sommer to equalize in added time.
With this result, Julian Nagelsmann’s men lead the group and will therefore face the second placed team in Group C, which is very open and consists of England, Denmark, Slovenia and Serbia.
