The Paris 2024 Olympics are just around the corner, but there are still four spots available in the men’s basketball tournament.
This week, four Olympic qualifying tournaments will be held in Greece, Latvia, Puerto Rico and Spain. NBA superstars such as Luka Doncic (Slovenia) and Giannis Antetokounmpo (Greece) will have to compete in these tournaments, as will powerhouses such as Spain and Lithuania.

Eight countries have already secured their bids for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, with four places up for grabs:

Men’s basketball qualifications for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games explained
There are four FIBA Men’s Olympic Qualifying Tournaments, to be held in Greece, Latvia, Puerto Rico and Spain, from July 2-7.
Each OQT features six teams divided into two groups of three. The top two teams from each group will advance to a single-elimination knockout phase. The winner of each OQT will qualify for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. According to the official website of the Olympic Games.
