Klopp rejects USMNT offer

But that didn’t last long. After the United States national team expressed interest in signing Klopp to become the club’s next manager, he “politely declined” the opportunity. Klopp maintained his stance that he wants to take a break from football after he steps away from Liverpool at the end of the 2023-24 Premier League season.

The United States needs a coach who can make drastic changes to a team that has had disgraceful performances at every major global tournament. The club believes Klopp can be that person, according to multiple reports.
Klopp left his post at Liverpool earlier this year after spending almost a decade with the Premier League club. The United States is attempting to bring him across the pond to take charge of the national team.
Hugo Perez doesn’t want the USMNT job…yet

Hugo Perez, a former member of the U.S. men’s national team, was among the top candidates to replace Berhalter before he was officially fired. But Perez responded to a post by Kyle Bonn of Jugo Mobile on X, noting that he is not yet seeking the job.
