According to Football Insider’s senior correspondent Pete O’RourkeEmile Smith Rowe is set to leave Arsenal this summer, with Fulham having opened preliminary talks to enquire about a possible deal with the former England Under-21 international.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is willing to offload some reserve players to generate funds to strengthen the squad. Smith Rowe has struggled for game time and has fallen down the pecking order at the Emirates. Recent reports have suggested that the Gunners are open to “big offers” for the 23-year-old to boost their transfer budget.

Arsenal willing to listen to offers for Emile Smith Rowe amid Fulham interest
Smith Rowe is a boyhood Arsenal fan who joined the club’s academy at the age of 10 and progressed through the ranks to make his first-team debut in 2018. He enjoyed a breakout campaign under Arteta in 2020/21, but injury problems have limited his playing time over the past two seasons.
Last season, Smith Rowe started just three Premier League games, the last of which came in April when Arsenal beat Luton 2-0. Arsenal are believed to be willing to sell him this summer and have reportedly made him available in the transfer market.
Crystal Palace were initially tipped to be interested in signing the midfielder, with Michael Olise set to leave for Bayern Munich. However, it is Fulham who are stepping up their interest in Smith Rowe, although he is believed to be willing to stay and fight for his place at the Emirates.
The 23-year-old reportedly arrived early for a mini training camp in Marbella and is clearly eager to be ready for the new campaign.
