When is Kylian Mbappé’s debut for Real Madrid?
Despite the fanfare surrounding his arrival in Madrid, Mbappe is expected to continue his post-Euro break before joining pre-season training later this month.
It is unclear whether he will join the club on their pre-season tour of the United States in August, which includes games against AC Milan, Barcelona and Chelsea, but he at least seems likely to make his competitive debut in the UEFA Super Cup against Atalanta on August 14.

However, despite the huge expectation surrounding Mbappe, Real Madrid did not pay any transfer fee for him as he became a free agent following the expiration of his contract with Paris Saint-Germain in June.
That’s only half the story, as the deal still represents a huge expense for the 15-time European champions. According to BBC Sport, Mbappe’s contract with Madrid is worth €15m net per season, which equates to around €288,000 per week.
When does the 2024/25 LaLiga season start?
La Liga is reeling from its start to the 2024/25 season, which kicks off on August 15. Current champions Real Madrid are not in action until August 18, when they visit Mallorca in what should be Mbappé’s league debut.
