Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s time at Manchester United appears to be coming to an end as the Red Devils look to offload the once-promising defender amid his dwindling contractual status.
The 26-year-old, who joined the club in a high-profile £50 million ($64 million) move from Crystal Palace in 2019, has failed to live up to the high expectations that accompanied his arrival at Old Trafford.
Despite doing a good job when called upon, Wan-Bissaka has struggled to cement his place in the starting XI, and his lack of attacking prowess has often drawn criticism from supporters.
The Englishman’s move seems to be on the verge of being over, with Erik ten Hag making it clear that Diogo Dalot is his preferred option at right-back, leaving Wan-Bissaka in the background.

With just one year remaining on his current contract, following the activation of a one-year extension in December, United are now exploring options to offload Wan-Bissaka and recoup some of the hefty fee they paid for his services.
The club are keen to cut losses on a player who has failed to live up to his price tag and is no longer seen as a long-term solution in the backline.

West Ham have been heavily linked with a possible move for the defensive-minded full-back, but the Hammers are yet to make a concrete offer to secure his services this summer.
The Red Devils have now lowered their demands, with Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg claiming that United are willing to let Wan-Bissaka leave the club for as little as £10m ($12m).
The Manchester giants are considering replacing the right-back with Bayern Munich’s Noussair Mazraoui.
