Speaking to journalist Ben Jacobs, Maresca said: “I love Moi. I’ve known him for many years. I know how he plays. Before the game against City, he only had one and a half sessions. He had 45 minutes against City. The idea is to improve his fitness a bit. We need him to be fit for the first game.”

Competition in Chelsea’s midfield
