It didn’t take long for Stephen Curry to make his presence felt during the United States’ semifinal match against Serbia at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Less than 20 seconds into the game, Curry put the U.S. on the board with a mid-range jumper and followed with a 3-pointer just over a minute later. Given Curry’s struggles throughout the tournament, his early start against Serbia indicated he was on the cusp of a long-overdue breakout performance.
Team USA had its share of first-half struggles against Serbia, trailing by as many as 17 points before rallying from a 13-point deficit in the fourth quarter to advance to the gold medal game against Paris.
Here we take a closer look at Curry’s impressive game against Nikola Jokic and company.
