Manchester City narrowly avoided setting an unwanted record in the Community Shield after a dramatic penalty shoot-out win over Manchester United.
The match ended 1-1 after normal time, but City triumphed 7-6 on penalties to avoid a fourth consecutive Community Shield defeat.
