Indiana, the perennial powerhouse in men’s soccer, will kick off its 2024 season on Friday against the St. Louis Billikens.

Indiana welcomes 14 new players this season, as the Hoosiers saw several key players from last year’s team depart. The recruiting class wasn’t one that received significant praise, though, as Rivals ranked it 64th in the country. That puts it third from the bottom in the Big 10, while teams like Ohio State and Michigan were ranked in the top 15 nationally.
Meanwhile, St. Louis is looking to improve on last season’s 8-4-5 finish, and saw its campaign come to a heartbreaking end in a shootout loss to UMass in the A-10 tournament title game.
