Defending champion Coco Gauff arrives at the US Open on the back of a string of blistering performances.
The 20-year-old American won her first Grand Slam women’s singles title in New York last year.
However, in the transition to hard court after the Olympics, Gauff lost in the second round of the Canadian Masters, followed by a first-round exit last week at the Cincinnati Masters.

Third-seeded Gauff opens her campaign with a first-round match against French player Varvara Gracheva on Monday, August 26 at approximately 2:00 p.m. ET.

2024 US Open Schedule
The first round of matches in the ATP and WTA singles competitions begins on Monday August 26, with the order of play most days starting at 11:00 a.m. AND in the first, second, third and fourth (last 16) rounds.
The two days of quarter-finals will begin at 12:00 PM ETwhile the WTA and ATP semi-finals on the following two evenings will begin at 7:00 PM ET And 3:00 PM ET respectively.
