Since 1960, eight players have worn No. 13 in New England, and with 13 days until their first game of the year, here’s a look at everyone who’s worn the number for the team:
K Joey Slye: Present
- Signed with New England this offseason
- Competing for the role of kicker
- He also played for the Carolina Panthers, Washington Commanders, Houston Texans and San Francisco 49ers
CB Jack Jones: 2022-23
- He played in 18 games for New England over two seasons, recording 30 tackles (including three for loss), seven pass deflections, two interceptions, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery and a hit on the quarterback.
- He also played for the Las Vegas Raiders
WR Phillip Dorsett: 2017-19
- He played 45 games for New England over three seasons, catching 73 passes for 881 yards and eight touchdowns.
- Won a Super Bowl with the Patriots
- He also played for the Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, Denver Broncos, Jacksonville Jaguars and Seattle Seahawks.
WR Joey Galloway: 2009
- Appeared in three games for New England in one season, catching seven passes for 67 yards
- He also played for the Seattle Seahawks, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Dallas Cowboys and Washington
WR Bam Childress: 2005-2006
- He appeared in three games for New England in two seasons, catching five passes for 39 yards.

- He played 46 games for New England over four seasons, averaging 38.6 yards per punt.

Quarterback Tom Hodson: 1990-1992

- He appeared in four games for New England in one season, catching one pass for 15 yards.
RB RC Gamble: 1968-69
