What is a bundle in Minecraft?
A package is a storage element that can hold up to a stack of different items in a single inventory space. They can be thought of as very simple early game shulker boxes. They are meant to help you free up inventory space for items that you only collect a few of, like flowers, moss blocks, and the like.
At the time of writing, the only way to use bundles in Minecraft is to create a new world in the latest Java snapshot 24W33A or Bedrock Preview 1.21.30.23 and enable the “Bundles” toggle in the Experiments menu.

How to store items in a package
After creating the package, open your inventory. Left click on the item in the bundle to retrieve it. Now you can hover over an element stackable up to 64 or 16 and left-click it again to have it automatically inserted into the deck. You can also pick up the item and insert it into the deck by left-clicking on it.
The package will be show a bar at the bottom telling you how full it is. You can repeat the same process and insert items into the pack until it is full (indicated by the red bar).
You can then leave the package in an empty slot by left-clicking on it. When you hover over the package, you will see the bar more clearly, as well as the items it contains.
How to extract items from a batch
To remove an item from the lot, you can retrieve it by left-clicking on it, then right click on an empty slot in your inventory and the item will be ejected there. You can also hover over the package and right-click on it to remove the item. However, this is only the case for the most recent item.
If you want to remove an item that you previously inserted, you can still do so. The pack has a submenu, which did not previously exist in the game. To access it, you can hover over the pack in your inventory and use the scroll wheel or number keys to select the item you want to remove. Then, right click on the item to remove itThe item will also be displayed as if it came out of the package.
If the package has 8 or less different types of items in this one, it will show them all, so you can easily remove one. However, if it contains more items, you will only see the first two rows of items, and the others will be hidden below. So you are forced to remove items before you can reach the one you want.
How to quickly empty a pack
If you want to empty the pack instantly, you can close the inventory, select the pack on your hotbar and right click while looking at an air block to remove all the contents at once.
If you simply want to place the pack item into the already occupied inventory slot, you should right click to swap places.
Minecraft Bundle Stack Rules
Now let’s see how stacking items affects the deck. If you want to place only items that can stack up to 64 (like ingots, building blocks, most food items, etc.) inside the deck, you can mix different types of items up to 64 in there. This means you can have two different elements in stacks of 32, or you can have 64 different elements, but they are all in a stack of one element.
Also, as you probably know, not all items can be stacked up to 64. Some can only be stacked up to 16 (like ender pearls, snowballs, eggs, etc.) and some can only be stacked up to one (tools, weapons, enchanted books, potions, etc.). This means that each element will behave according to the size of its stack.
So if you think you can have 64 potions in a single deck, you’re wrong. Stackable items on top of one (or non-stackable items) will instantly fill a deck.
Items stackable up to 16 will behave differently than items stackable up to 64. If you want to have only items stackable up to 16 in a bundle, you can mix different items up to 16. For example, you can have three eggs, eight ender pearls, and five snowballs in a pack. You can also mix items that stack up to 64 and items that stack up to 16 in a pack, but they will follow their stacking rules.
However, remember that you can create as many bundles as you want, so you can easily free up space both stackable up to 64 and stackable up to 16 items.
