The CW’s iZombie series is no longer available on Netflix, here’s where fans can stream the show next.
A supernatural procedural series, iZombie ran for five seasons from 2015 to 2019. The CW series gained a cult following during that time and owes part of its success to the network’s exclusive streaming deal with Netflix.
Much to the dismay of fans, iZombie no longer occupies a spot on the streaming platform after being removed on September 5, 2024.
Here’s why the TV show left the service and where else fans can watch it.
Why did iZombie leave Netflix?
In 2011, during a difficult period for the network, The CW signed its first subscription deal with Netflix. The two sides renewed their agreement in 2016, with terms stipulating that a series’ full season would premiere on the streamer shortly after the season finale aired.
Shows like Arrow, iZombie and Jane the Virgin have reached a much wider audience as a result. The CW opted not to renew licensing deal in 2019, iZombie leaving Netflix in September 2024.

This change also applies to two other CW-produced television series: Jane the Virgin and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.
Where to stream iZombie
Viewers looking to Watch iZombie after it leaves Netflix can be done via The CW appAs of this writing, no other streaming options are available, but fans can purchase individual episodes or full seasons through Prime Video, Fandango at Home, Apple TV, and YouTube.
It’s worth noting that Apple TV only sells access to the first two seasons, while YouTube only offers seasons 1-3 for purchase.
Adapted from the comic book series by Chris Roberson and Michael Allred, iZombie follows the adventures of Liv Moore, a medical examiner turned zombie. Despite her strange condition, Moore continues to help murder cases by consuming the victims’ brains and unlocking their memories.
