The Las Vegas Raiders involved their top three wide receivers in a Week 1 loss to the Los Angeles Chargerswith receivers Davante Adams and Jakobi Meyers and tight end Brock Bowers all catching multiple passes.

Meyers led the Raiders in receiving with 61 yards, which he accumulated on just three receptions. Bowers led the team in both targets and receptions and finished with six catches for 58 yards.

Last but not least, we have Adams, who had the second-most catches on the team with five en route to the second most receiving yards with 59.

The Raiders have a game against the Baltimore Ravens In Week 2. Should Bowers, Adams or Meyers be on your fantasy football team? Let’s discuss.

Tips for Brock Bowers to Start or Not

Brock Bowers: Beginning

Bowers led all Raiders receivers in targets and receptions last week, and he turned them into 58 receiving yards for a solid fantasy performance in his debut. His target numbers show that his chemistry with Gardner Minshew is good and that the rookie tight end is going to be very involved in the offense.

The Ravens have given up the fifth most fantasy points to tight ends last week against the The Kansas City Chiefsand Travis Kelce wasn’t even the top producer at the position, with Noah Gray’s 37 yards outpacing Kelce’s 34.

With so much focus on Adams and Meyers, Bowers should get plenty of one-on-ones in this game. Not to mention, the script could work in his favor if Baltimore’s offense goes all out to take on Vegas’ defense, which is a realistic scenario, especially considering how bad the Raiders are against the run.

Bowers is a solid starting option for Week 2.

Davante Adams’ Tips for Starting or Staying on the Bench

Davante Adams: Beginning

Adams has had a tricky start to the season and will now have to face the Ravens’ top cornerback, Marlon Humphrey, which will not be an easy task.

But none of that is enough to take away the status Adams has enjoyed as a starter for years. Plus, the Ravens gave up the sixth-most fantasy points to receivers last week, and the Raiders may have to throw the ball a few times to keep up with Baltimore’s offense.

Adams remains a weekly starter until further notice.

Jakobi Meyers’ Tips for Getting Started or Staying

Jakobi Meyers: Sit down

Meyers has a chance to eat if the Raiders find themselves behind and have to air him out often, but it’s not enough to trust veteran receivers as a starter this week, especially when it’s so early in the season and starting options are generally more plentiful.

In Week 1, Meyers led the team in receiving yards, but he also tied for fourth in team targets behind Bowers, Adams and running back Alexander Mattison. Being the third or fourth option in Vegas’ offense isn’t going to be fruitful most weeks. Keep Meyers on the bench.
