The series follows Yoon Ji-woo (Han So-hee), who sets out on a quest for revenge after witnessing her father’s murder.
“She trains in hand-to-hand combat under Choi Mu-jin (Park Hee-soon), a powerful crime boss and close friend of her father, and eventually becomes a mole within the police force. Now a rookie cop in the narcotics unit, Ji-woo hunts down her father’s killer while helping Mu-jin escape the police,” reads the official synopsis.

He was hailed as a “hidden gem”viewers praising the chemistry between the lead stars, the choreography of the fight scenes and the 80s synth music.
“It’s a lot closer to a Korean TV version of Infernal Affairs/The Departed than Squid Game. That said, both of those films were critically well-received and My Name took it and put its own spin on it,” one viewer also wrote.
Unfortunately, there has been no news of a second season, so if you do end up watching My Name, make peace with the likely reality that the story ends there.
