The Minnesota Vikings have gotten off to a fast start against the New York Jets in the first half of the Week 5 game in London, but they now have an injury concern with running back Aaron Jones.
Jones was having a big first half for Minnesota, as he tallied 29 yards on seven carries and one reception for 24 yards. His reception was a sensational play, as Jones had to go up and get it, and he “Moss’d” a defender in the process.
But Jones also sustained a hip injury over the first two quarters that leaves his status up in the air for the rest of the game. Here’s the latest on the Vikings running back after he exited the field.

UPDATE: Jones was not on the field for the Vikings’ first drive of the second half. We’ll see if he returns for the second drive of the third quarter when Minnesota gets the football again.
According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, Jones is questionable to return with his hip injury. The Vikings running back remained on the sidelines after getting checked out by trainers and was trying to get loose but was clearly wincing in pain.

Here’s video of Jones walking around on the sideline with an obvious limp. Jones previously suffered a hip injury in Week 2 and was on the injury report with the issue in Week 3 but was able to play. It isn’t clear if this is the same hip, though.
