Los Angeles Lakers superstar forward LeBron James is expected to play two more years in the NBA, possibly three, according to Shams Charania. LeBron is currently entering his 22nd season in the NBA.
LeBron has been around since 2003, when he was drafted straight out of high school. Now at age 39, entering his 22nd season, he’s still going strong and has created a legendary career.
To start his career, he won Rookie of the Year easily. Then, three years later, he brought his team to the playoffs, who were historically bad years before. The year after, he made it to the Finals with his team and got swept. Then, the accolades really started piling up.
As of now, LeBron is a four-time NBA Champ with four Finals MVPs, 20-time All-Star and four-time All-Star MVP, four-time MVP, appeared six times on All-Defensive teams, and has been on an All-NBA team 20 times.
LeBron also holds two historic records: the most points in the history of the sport of basketball with 50,260, and he led his team back from a 3-1 deficit in the NBA Finals, the only time it has ever happened.
LeBron is also set to make history tonight as well. He will be the first player in the NBA to ever play with his own son on his team, Bronny James. And, if what Shams says is true, he might be able to also play with his second son, Bryce.
LeBron is arguably the greatest basketball player of all time, and he’s even going possibly three more years to solidify his greatness.
