Arsenal are in firm need of a form boost after the international break with Mikel Arteta’s side enduring a difficult few weeks.
The Gunners were held to a 1-1 Premier League draw away at Chelsea as they signed off for the final international window of 2024.

The latest Opta Supercomputer data indicates Arsenal’s title chances have dropped to 3.5% of probability, with league leaders Liverpool on 58.3%, as they top the table by five points.
Arsenal have seven Premier League games left before the end of 2024, alongside two in the UEFA Champions League, and an EFL Cup quarterfinal against Crystal Palace.
As the schedule steps up, former Arsenal midfielder Paul Merson claims there is no further room for error if Arteta wants to end the club’s two-decade wait for a league title, with Liverpool leading his team by nine points.
“Arteta’s got to get the players fit now, he’s got to fuel the tank up, that’s the main thing,” he said after the draw at Chelsea.
“They’ve got to go on a run. They’ve got to make sure this goes down to six points before it gets to 12 points.
“If it gets to 12, it’s goodnight. I still think they’ll do well to catch Liverpool.”
The majority of Arteta’s squad now head off on international duty, for the final FIFA window of 2024, with Arsenal back in action at home to Nottingham Forest on November 23.
A home clash with Manchester United on December 4 is the eye-catching clash on the incoming agenda for Arteta.
