Ben Shelton and Trinity Rodman are Instagram official! (Yup, that Rodman.)
Ben’s kissy “hard launch” relationship post on March 17 was a Gen Z move with a certain appeal to the older generations — who grew up watching Trinity’s dad, NBA great Dennis Rodman, kill it on the basketball court.
His lineage is sporty, too. Both Mom and Dad are former professional tennis players: Bryan Shelton and Lisa Witsken Shelton.
Ben’s post was published with the caption: “I been focused, but I’m steady climbin’, I’m nowhere near my peak.” Fans would have had to scroll through to the sixth (and last) pic to see the telling photo of Trinity giving him a sweet peck on the cheek.
But the comments were more telling. Trinity’s response quickly rose to the top of the comments: “Shooters shoot I guess ??.”
The young stars, 22, had been spotted flirting on social media in recent weeks. And fans couldn’t get enough of the hints that the two hot young athletes were dating.
Trinity scored three goals for the U.S. at the 2024 Paris Olympics, where the team took home the gold. In 2021, she was named the U.S. Soccer Young Female Player of the Year is now a forward for the National Women’s Soccer League’s Washington Spirit. Her mom is Dennis Rodman’s third wife, Michelle Moyer.

Ben’s March 2025 singles ranking by the ATP is 12, a career high. When he reached the semi-finals for the 2023 U.S. Open, he was the youngest American man to do so in more than 20 years.
