Some heroic performances from Scotland over the final matchdays ensured they avoided automatic relegation to League B and will instead contest a relegation playoff tie. Belgium will also face a two-legged tie to determine which tier they will play in for the next campaign.

When are the UEFA Nations League knockouts and relegation playoffs?
The relegation playoffs for League B/C and League A/B, and the quarterfinals of the knockout phase, are scheduled to place in March 2025. The first legs are set for Thursday, March 20, with the return games on Sunday, March 23.
The League C/D playoffs are slated for Thursday, March 26, and Tuesday, March 31.
The knockout semifinals will then be held in the subsequent international break in June 2025, with those games scheduled for June 4-5. The final is on Sunday, June 8.
