The only thing harder than winning the finals? Winning the semifinals. Chelsea and Fluminense will try for just that as the two clubs go head-to-head in the 2025 Club World Cup semifinals.
One more win is all they need to move onto the championship. It all goes down Tuesday, July 8 at MetLife Stadium, just a few miles outside New York City, the same pitch the finals will be played on just a few days later.
To become one of the final four teams, Fluminense defeated Al Hilal 2-1 while Chelsea downed Palmeiras 2-1. When the two face off, it will be a match of goal-scoring versus goal-keeping. Throughout it’s tournament matches, Chelsea scored 12 goals while Fluminense allowed just three.
