Manchester United were on the receiving end of a 1-0 defeat against Arsenal in their opening Premier League match on August 17, at Old Trafford.

After that underwhelming result but positive performance, the Red Devils will be looking for a win in their next league clash against Fulham on August 24 at Craven Cottage.

Marco Silva’s side played out a 1-1 draw against Brighton & Hove Albion in their opening league game on August 16. The Cottagers will also be hoping for a better result against United with the support of the home crowd, although recent history is not on their side.

United and Fulham have faced each other on 36 occasions in the Premier League, and the Red Devils have a good record away from home, with 12 victories and only two defeats 18 games.

Fulham vs. Man United lineups: Predicted starting XI, team news, injury latest

Fulham continue to have Antonee Robinson out of action after the defender underwent knee surgery at the end of May, while Ryan Sessegnon‘s presence also remains in doubt due to a knock that could reportedly have him sidelined for the first matches of the season.

The Cottagers are expected to continue with a similar lineup to the one they had against Brighton, with Rodrigo Muniz, who netted their equalizer last week, possibly replacing Raul Jimenez up front in the starting XI.

Fulham predicted starting XI (4-2-3-1, right to left): Leno (GK) — Tete, Andersen, Cuenca, Bassey — Berge, Lukic — Wilson, King, Iwobi — Muniz

Injured: Robinson (knee surgery), Sessegnon (knock, doubt)Suspended: None

Andre Onana could return in goal for United, particularly following Altay Bayindir‘s blunder that led to the Red Devils’ defeat in their opening league fixture.

Noussair Mazraoui missed the Arsenal game due to an injury sustained early in preseason and remains out, along with long-term absentee Lisandro Martinez.

Man United’s starting lineup against Fulham is expected to see some small changes. Benjamin Sesko might receive his first start this weekend, while Amad Diallo could get the nod on the right ahead of Diogo Dalot after impressing off the bench against Arsenal.

Joshua Zirkzee should be available, but Rasmus Hojlund may again be omitted from the squad as he considers a move elsewhere.

Man United predicted starting XI (3-4-2-1, right to left): Onana (GK) — Yoro, De Ligt, Shaw — Amad Diallo, Fernandes, Casemiro, Dorgu — Mbuemo, Cunha — Sesko

Injured: Martinez (ACL), Onana (hamstring, doubt), Mazraoui (knock, doubt)Suspended: None
