After the summer break, Formula 1 returns for the Dutch Grand Prix this weekend at the Circuit Zandvoort.
While the Zandvoort is known for his old-school driving, with fast straights and technical, challenging corners, the festive ‘sea of orange’ vibe that the fans bring to this beachside circuit makes it one of the most iconic races on the F1 calendar.
With only 10 races left, McLaren Mercedes are firmly in the drivers’ seat this season. McLaren sits atop the team standings with 559 points, 299 points clear of second-placed Ferrari and 323 points ahead of third-placed Mercedes.
Meanwhile, McLaren teammates Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris are the front-runners in the drivers’ championship. Second-placed Norris closed the gap to nine points after winning the Hungarian GP, his fifth victory of this edition.
Max Verstappen, who is currently placed third with 175 points, is itching to roar back to form of his home crowd. The Dutchman has a phenomenal track record at Zandvoort; he claimed the first three editions of the modern Dutch GP since 2021.

Dutch Grand Prix 2025 schedule
The Circuit Zandvoort will host the F1 Dutch Grand Prix from Friday, August 29 to Sunday, August 31.
Dutch Grand Prix is the 15th Grand Prix race of the season. It will take place over a standard race weekend format, with two practice sessions on Friday, a further practice session on Saturday, and the qualifying on Saturday before the race on Sunday, August 31.
