Where to Find Meteors in 99 Nights in the Forest
Players can find meteors only after the Meteor Shower has occurred in the game. The Meteor Shower happens randomly after you reach day 5 or later. Once the Meteor Shower is about to start, a text will pop up, “The sky is on fire.” Following the notice, the sky will turn red, and you’ll witness a breathtaking meteor shower.
Meteors will fall from the sky and crash in the forest. Make sure you keep an eye on the area where the meteor crashed. Navigate to the area, and you’ll find a meteor crater containing meteors. The meteors can be mined using certain tools that we will share later.
Remember that you cannot find meteor craters on the map. We recommend searching around the areas where you think the meteor crashed. If you didn’t notice, then worry not, as you’ll come across them randomly while navigating through the forest. Just keep your eyes open.
Items Required to Mine Meteors in 99 Nights in the Forest
Mining meteors is a simple process, just like chopping wood. You’ll need any kind of axe to break the meteors and a sack to store them. However, mining meteors requires more hits than chopping wood. Also, make sure that you kill the meteor crabs and wolves if they are nearby.
The Axes that can be used to mine meteors are:
- Old Axe
- Good Axe
- Ice Axe
- Strong Axe
- Chainsaw
- Admin Axe

What You Get from the Meteors in 99 Nights in the Forest
There are two different types of meteors: Black Ore and Red Crystals. Both are the same, with only the colour being different. Mining the meteors will give you the following items in 99 Nights in the Forest:
- Meteor Shard
- Raw Obsidian Ore
- Gold Shard
These items are very crucial as they can be used to craft various other items and blueprints from the Meteorite Anvil Tool Workshop in the Anvil Building. Moreover, the items found in the meteors contribute as crucial ingredients in some of the 99 Nights in the Forest crafting recipes.
