According to Argentine TV presenter Angel de Brito, passed on by the Daily Star, Maria Sol was injured in a car accident in Miami.
De Brito reported that Maria lost consciousness while driving, causing her vehicle to strike a barrier. He claimed that Messi’s sister was “out of danger” but has sustained multiple burns and fractures in the incident, and has quite the recovery ahead of her.
As a result of the incident and her injuries sustained, she has postponed her upcoming wedding, which was scheduled to take place in Rosario, Argentina on January 3.
