Manchester City will open their Premier League season slightly later than usual due to the FIFA World Cup, scheduled to begin their season on August 23 against Bournemouth at home.
They will play their first Manchester derby against rivals Man United on the weekend of September 13 at Old Trafford, and they will meet Liverpool at Anfield on the weekend of October 10. Their first match against defending league champions Arsenal will be on the weekend of November 28, also on the road, as City’s 2026/27 schedule is back-loaded with all their big games at home through the second half.
Manchester City Champions League schedule
The schedule for Manchester City in the 2026/27 Champions League is not yet known.
They will not know their league phase schedule until the league phase draw which takes place on August 27.
Their first league phase game will take place sometime between September 8-10, with the league phase ending on January 27. If they qualify for the knockout stage, that will begin either on February 16-17 (playoff round) or March 9-10 (Round of 16). The final is scheduled for June 5 in Madrid, Spain.
