Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker has echoed fans’ enthusiasm for new signing Federico Chiesa.
Although Chiesa is yet to make his Reds debut, his impact has already been felt on the training ground, and anticipation for his first appearance is growing.
Chiesa, who joined Liverpool for £12.5 million ($16.5 million) in the final days of the transfer window, has been a source of energy and positivity since his arrival.
Alisson, speaking to the press ahead of Liverpool’s Champions League clash against AC Milan, couldn’t help but share his thoughts on the Italian winger.

Chiesa ‘has been smiling since day one’, says Alisson
“He’s had a smile on his face since the first moment he joined Liverpool,” said Alisson, beaming with joy about his new team-mate. “Federico’s enthusiasm is infectious. He seems grateful for this new opportunity and he’s already showing his quality in training.”
Alisson added that Chiesa’s attitude had boosted team morale: “Everyone is enthusiastic about Federico. His quality is evident every day and we are lucky to have him with us.”

Liverpool manager Arne Slot confirmed Chiesa was available for the Milan game but hinted he might not start. “It would be a big surprise if he started, but he could get his first minutes,” Slot said.
With Chiesa’s infectious smile and impressive productivity, Liverpool fans can’t wait to see him in action. And who knows, maybe we’ll soon be calling him the ‘Smiling Assassin’ at Anfield.
