The Detroit Lions had a big scare in their Week 2 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after star receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown had to leave the field several times with an apparent leg injury.
St. Brown was initially knocked out in the third quarter before returning. But St. Brown limped off the field again in the fourth quarter and fell on the sideline once he got on the field.
Fortunately, the news was positive for St. Brown after the game, with ESPN’s Adam Schefter reporting that St. Brown was suffering from a bruise and cramps. Head coach Dan Campbell later confirmed that there was no long term concerns for St. Brown.
While that’s all well and good, there has been no confirmation yet that St. Brown will be around in Week 3. On Wednesday, the Lions released their first injury report of the week, giving us a glimpse of his status heading into Sunday.
