Young signed a four-year, $37.9 million contract in 2023, commensurate with being the No. 1 overall pick in the NFL Draft. The fully guaranteed deal included a $24.6 million signing bonus and a fifth-year team option for the 2027 season.

The average annual value of Young’s rookie deal is slightly under $12.5 million, and he will earn a total of $4.2 million in his third NFL season with his base salary and roster bonus.

Young will have earned $26.3 million through his first three NFL seasons and is set to add $1.1 million to that tally during the 2026 season. As per the NFL standard, he becomes eligible for a contract extension ahead of his fourth NFL campaign.

Bryce Young business ventures and philanthropy

Young’s philanthropic endeavors are through his eponymous Young 9 Foundation.

His foundation has hosted youth football camps throughout Southern California and the Carolinas. Young’s father is a longtime mental health professional and the former No. 1 overall pick is a major mental health advocate, recently working with HopeWay, a mental health treatment facility in Charlotte, N.C.

Young has been involved with various outreach projects through his partnership with Lowe’s Home Improvement, including the building of 500 wheelchairs to donate to war veterans.
