Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Points: OVER 31.5 (-120)

Thunder vs. Nuggets – 8:00 pm ET
SGA ranks second shortest MVP Odds at BetMGM (+350)only behind the aforementioned Jokic (+100). Has the most 30-point performances (35) and most 20-point performances (65) in the NBA this season. And now that running mate Jalen Williams has sprained his ankle, the All-NBA guard could see an increase in usage in this huge divisional game.
Look, Gilgeous-Alexander is shooting. and scoring a ton and it results in monumental team success. OKC has spent much of this season atop the Western Conference standings, and the Thunder have already defeated the defending champions twice this season.
A win in Denver tonight means Mark Daigneault’s team would have a tiebreaker over Joker and company, and a strong performance by SGA would almost certainly put him even closer to Jokic in the MVP odds. Bet on OVER with trust.

Tim Hardaway Jr. Points: OVER 23.5 (-120)

Mavericks vs. Wolves – 8:00 p.m. ET
With elite scorer Luka Doncic out with a sprained right ankle and Kyrie Irving nursing a thumb injury, Hardaway Jr. becomes the de facto scorer in Dallas as the Mavs enter the Wolves’ den. Minnesota has the best record in the Western Conference, so expectations will be low but Hardaway’s shot count should be very, very high.
As a historian of the game, I can say with certainty that the game has never seen anything like Doncic. The Slovenian star has contributed a staggering 146 points in the Mavericks’ last three games, highlighted by a 73-point performance in Atlanta on Friday. The wildest thing: he did it in only 33 attempts from the field, and also gave 14 assists in the game. We’ve never seen a 73-point night with fewer shots or as many dimes.
Doncic’s impact is impossible to measure and even more impossible to replace. But you won’t have to ask Hardaway twice to try. In the last six games Luka missed, Hardaway averaged 27.3 points per game. He scored 32 points in two of those six games, and exploded for 41 most recently, on January 15. He is a sharpshooter who always seems to get hotter the more shots he takes.
Doncic had averaged 36 points per game in the Mavs’ last two games with Minnesota, one of the best defensive teams in the NBA. This could be an absolute bloodbath, but the one thing we’re not worried about for Dallas is Hardaway’s ability to make a ton of shots and get the OVER for us.
Aaron Gordon double-double Yes (+260)

Nuggets on Thunder – 8:00 pm ET
We were all excited to bet on Nikola Jokic’s triple-double as the best bet, as he pulled off a triple-double after we made the same pick in our Monday column (in total, he scored 25 points, 16 rebounds, 12 assists against Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks). However, the Serbian sensation and BetMGM Odds Leader to Win MVP (+100) He will miss tonight’s game in OKC due to lower back pain.
Denver leads the West’s No. 2 seed by just a half-game over OKC, which is one game behind the Wolves for first place. The division has never been closer: the Nugs, Wolves and Thunder are all together. +250 or less at BetMGM to win the Northwest division. Needless to say, this is still a very important game for Denver, with or without the Joker running amok. That’s why we like Gordon as the “next man” to come forward for the defending champions.
Rookie of the Year candidate Chet Holmgren has been a force down low, but will likely have to face veteran center DeAndre Jordan most of the night. And with Thunder rising star Jalen Williams suffering an ankle injury, OKC is also shorthanded. Any Thunder player guarding Gordon will give up size and strength, which is why we like AG to play against the young gunners from the Midwest.
