In Chainsaw Man Chapter 176, Yoru’s master plan finally works, unexpectedly bringing the Mouths back into existence.
While Chainsaw Man has always had a strange side, it has reached a new peak in the latest chapters. After witnessing Nayuta’s traumatic death, Denji goes berserk, losing himself in grief as he transforms into his eponymous form.
Since then, he has killed many enemies, while removing some fundamental concepts from existence. The first is that of ears, and eventually, snow, mouths, and arms are also removed from the world.
But this horrible phenomenon finally comes to an end in Chainsaw Man Chapter 176. As Yoru is about to die at the hands of the main character, she takes a drastic measure to defeat her opponent. It is a huge sacrifice for her, but she is willing to do it to defeat the most powerful devil.
Summoning his children – the Armed Devil and the Chariot Devil – Yoru cuts the Chainsaw Man and makes him vomit the Mouth Devil, thus bringing the mouths back into existence.

This is a shocking development, especially since Yoru seemingly had no way of defeating the Chainsaw Man before this. But as Chapter 176 proves, the War Devil has more in her arsenal than she revealed. For example, every weapon is her children and she can use them whenever and however she wants.
Given that the chainsaw is a weapon in itself, one might wonder if Yoru could also have an influence on Pochita. If so, it will be one of the most shocking twists in the manga, and that’s saying something.
