Boxing champion Austin Trout continues his quest to dominate two sports when he competes in another bare-knuckle fight against Luis Palomino on February 2. The fight is for the Bare Knuckle FC lightweight title.
Trout turned professional boxing in 2005 and is a former WBA super welterweight champion. “No Doubt” is on a 6-1-1 streak and a six-fight winning streak. The 38-year-old joined BKFC in February 2023, beating Diego Sánchez in New Mexico. His last professional boxing fight was in October and Trout is still interested in competing in the ring. He also wants to prove himself without gloves.

Palomino turned MMA professional in 2006. “Baboon” is a former XFC Featherweight Champion and fought for the WSOF Lightweight Title, losing to Justin Gaethje. His last MMA fight was a 2019 decision loss against Claudio Quintana.

The 43-year-old went bare knuckle again in 2020. He beat Isaac Vallie-Flagg to win the BKFC lightweight title. In 2022, he defeated Elvin Brito to win the BKFC welterweight title. His last fight was a June victory against James Lilley.
