Gavi’s injury record at Barcelona
Gavi’s superb rise to prominence for club and country featured very little issues with injury prior to November 2023.
The 20-year-old was left in agony during a UEFA Euro 2024 qualifier against Georgia as the La Blaugrana starlet was carried off the pitch.
Barcelona and Spain fans feared the worst as his season was ended and he missed out on Spain’s eventual victory at Euro 2024.
However, his application to a dedicated post-surgery rehabilitation campaign kept him positive throughout, with Barcelona easing him back into training.
An appearance in the squad list against Sevilla marks a first for almost a year and Flick could give him a late cameo off the bench.
