The full release of the update is expected shortly after the iPhone 16 launches on September 9, but you don’t have to wait. Apple has already released the public beta of iOS 18. How to Install iOS 18 Beta on iPhone
Apple has made it easier to install iOS betas. But before you start, be aware that the beta isn’t the most stable version of the software, and you might run into some issues.
- To join the public beta, go to Apple Beta Program Website on your device’s Safari browser. Sign in using the primary Apple ID associated with your device.
- Once finished, return to Settings and press General.
- Select Software Update. You should now see a new Beta Updates option under Automatic updates. Select Beta Updates.
- Select iOS 18 Public Beta below Beta Updates.
- Return to previous screen Settings SO General.
- Faucet Software Update. You should see your iOS 18 Beta update there. Select Download and install and follow the instructions from there.

iOS 18 Features
