“Everyone must choose!” HBO presented two new duel trailers for Dragon House Season 2 Today: A Black Trailer and a Green Trailer: Compelling game of Thrones Fans choose a side in the next war. The Black Trailer positions Rhaenyra Targaryen (Emma D’Arcy) as the true heir to Viserys Targaryan (Paddy Considine), revealing fragments of Daemon (Matt Smith) threatening to burn down the homes of noble families, young Jacaerys (Harry Collett) courting to Starks at the Wall and showing the Velaryons offering their advice. The Green Trailer, on the other hand, insists that Aegon (Tom Glynn-Carney) is the true king of Westeros, revealing a despondent Alicent (Olivia Cooke) and an Aemond (Ewan Mitchell) eager to take the fight to Daemon.
Which side would you choose? What secrets does each trailer hide? What are the Black Trailer and Green Trailer Easter Eggs to look out for? And is there a Dragon House Season 2 premiere date? Let’s analyze it…
Dragon House Season 2 Black Trailer Breakdown:
He Dragon House The season 2 black trailer begins with what appears to be a funeral, or at least a somber ceremony, at Dragonstone. My best guess is that it’s a memorial to Lucerys (Elliot Grihault), who was slain by Aemond’s dragon, Vhagar, in the season 1 finale. In voiceover, Rhaenyra says, “My father chose me, his firstborn.” , to succeed him. He kept his decision until death.”

We see Rhaenyra watching her own dragon, Syrax, from various points across Dragonstone. He then says, “And yet Alicent’s son occupies my throne,” as Aegon approaches the iconic Iron Throne. Over dinner at Dragonstone, Rhaenyra tells his family, “I want to fight this war and win it.” Daemon turns to her and smiles.

We see someone looking at the high windows of a castle; a dragon flies by. We then see Rhaenyra march towards where the attendees have prepared. his continue. Jacaerys now says: “The kingdom will soon be torn asunder if men do not remember the oaths sworn to King Viserys and his rightful heir.” There is a shot of men riding horses in the snow and then we follow them. Jacaerys and, we assume, Lord Cregan Stark (Tom Taylor) as they walk along the top of the Wall.

There is a close-up of Rhaenyra’s face. Then a quickly edited montage of Freddie Fox as Ser Gwayne Hightower, Alicent’s brotheron the battlefield, a golden dragon flying overhead and men flying in the air after an explosion.

Aemond walks into a huge castle that could possibly be Harrenhal. – at least we know we’ll get some Harrenhal action this season thanks to Daemon’s strategic plans and the casting of Alys Rivers (Gayle Rankin) – and there’s a close-up of Otto Hightower. Corlys Velaryon (Steve Toussaint) just said, “The Hightowers are marching.” He then limps with his cane towards a dock. We then see that he is talking to Rhaenyra on a dock and tells her, “You must crush this beast by the head.”

Then a montage of Rhaenyra, a man in armor, potentially Daemon, walking up the castle steps with his sword at the ready, and finally Daemon turns towards the camera with his helmet on. The doors open revealing Alicent and her daughter Helaena (Phia Saban) in all their funeral finery before we take a photo of Aegon stewing.

As this happens, Daemon says, “Our terms are simple: renounce the false king and bow the knee to the queen.” Darkness falls for a quick second and We see Daemon atop his dragon, finishing his threat: “—Or your house will burn.”

We see armies on the ground and then Beala Targaryen (Bethany Antonia) riding her dragon Moondancer into battle. Rhaenys (Eve Best) says, “When the desire to kill and burn takes over and all reason is lost, we won’t even remember how the war started in the first place.” there is a photo of Rhaenyra During this line, Rhaenys speaks, Aegon punches someone, and Vhagar flies.

Daemon shouts, “We fight for our queen!” as the doors open to a fight in the rain, leading me to think that the unidentified soldier from earlier was Daemon. So it seems that Ser Arryk Cargyll (Elliot Tittensor) or his twin Ser Erryk (Luke Tittensor) are fighting. Rhaenyra first walks outside in Dragonstone, looking at the horizon, and then we see her inside, in the shadows. She says, “I fear what I have begun.” A dragon roars.
We get the title card followed by the Dragon House Season 2 premiere date: June 16.
Dragon House Green Season 2 Trailer Breakdown:
He Dragon House Instead, the Green Season 2 trailer begins with Alicent Hightower lighting a candle in prayer, similar to how she did as a teenager in Season 1. She says, “Just a few weeks ago, my lord husband was alive and the kingdom “I was at peace.” She puts out the firewood and we cut to an establishing shot of a city. We see that Alicent is talking to what appears to be her father.

On the walls of King’s Landing, Green Targaryen banners are unfurled. Alicent and Sir Criston Cole (Fabien Frankel) enter the Small Council chamber. “On her deathbed,” Alicent continues as we see a shot of Rhaenyra from behind, shrouded in an ominous shadow, “she knew the kingdom would never accept a queen.” There is a close-up of Rhaenyra’s eyes.

“Rhaenyra’s supporters will believe what they want,” Alicent says, as the doors to the throne room open. Aegon ascends the stairs to the Iron Throne as his grandfather bows. “But Viserys wanted Aegon to succeed him,” she says in a different scene than the previous one. Aegon sits on the Iron Throne.

We see soldiers turning the large gears of a huge scorpion placed on the castle walls. (You will remember game of Thrones These are the only effective anti-dragon weapons.) One of the Cargyll twins watches from the battlements. We see Daemon pass over a huge camp of black tents. Otto Hightower says: “Now they wish not the good of the kingdom, but the satisfaction of revenge.” Alicent is at the bottom. We then see a similar close-up of Rhaenyra in the Black Trailer.

A yellowish dragon, perhaps Syrax, rises into the sky. The men are thrown onto the battlefield. Someone is holding a bag of money through the bars of a door. A soldier sees him. We then see someone guiding another man through dark tunnels with a torch. (For book readers, do we think this is a prelude to the horrible “Blood and Cheese” event? I’m thinking it’s a bribe to get into King’s Landing.) Aegon says, “Conspire against the king and I will pay.” Come back a hundred times.”

We see hands holding a jeweled helmet. Aegon, clad in armor, says, “I am as fearsome as any of them.” We then see Aegon’s golden dragon Sunfire in what appears to be the sept above the Dragonpit. Alicent tells Aegon, “You have no idea the sacrifices that were made to put you on that throne.” Aegon doesn’t seem particularly happy to hear this (or grateful).

A dragon flies over a castle at night while soldiers run across the ground. Daemon, naked, moves cautiously down a hallway. In another darkly lit room, Aemond smiles. “My uncle is a challenge I welcome,” Aemond tells Ser Criston Cole in another scene set in the Small Council chamber. “If you dare to confront me.”

Mourning civilians throw something into a royal carriage below. A grief-stricken Alicent sheds a tear beneath her black veil. Otto says, “We will prevail and bring peace, but you must accept that the path to victory is now one of violence.” Someone is rolling gold coins through their fingers, Alicent looks worriedly at Aemond during a Small Council meeting, Ser Criston Cole walks along the battlements, and a palace maid runs back with blood-soaked bedclothes. “Good,” Aegon says, smiling. “To war then!”

Note that, in the middle of Otto’s last line, We see a young woman in armor bearing the seal of House Bracken. He draws a sword to a group of young men dressed in black and red. In the books, House Bracken declared for the Greens and their enemy house, the Blackwoods, declared for the Blacks. There is a well-known Blackwood warrior in Fire and blood named Alysanne “Black Aly” who fought during this war, but it is unclear who this Bracken warrior maiden is supposed to be.

Vhagar flies through the clouds, Ser Criston Cole rides into a forest during a battle, the same shot of one of the dueling Cargyll twins that is in the Black Trailer appears. We get an overhead shot of King’s Landing as Alicent says, “All my life I have strived to serve both my house and my kingdom.” There is a shot of her in a large room or partition and then she speaks next to a curtained window. There is a shot of a castle and then we see. Alicent duck underwater in her bath. “And somehow none of that matters.”

A dragon flies over a forest as Criston shouts, “Keep your courage! By the one true king, Aegon! then we see Aegon strutting into the throne room and then a glimpse of Vhagar roaring at the Dragonpit attendees. There is a title card, followed by the Dragon House Season 2 premiere date: June 16.
